Tripoli Bar Association
Therefore, the Bar Association in Tripoli, founded in 1921 includes the lawyers who elected domiciles in the province of North Lebanon.
Upon its foundation, the headquarters of the Bar Association was inside the Government House, before it was moved in 1985 to an independent building next to the Justice Palace in Tripoli.
The Bar of Tripoli plays an important role in the public life on different levels. It is one of the founding associations of the Arab Lawyers' Union and had many attitudes regarding the national and Arab issues. It was and stills the pioneer of the civil society and plays a crucial role, not only in helping its members and organizing their affairs, but also in working on imposing justice and consolidating the State of law and institutions.
